Dear Friends and Family,

I belong to a great organization, One Small House, which builds homes for families in need.  On August 20th we will be in La Gloria, Mexico building a home for the Martines Family.  The Martines’ are a family of four currently living in a shack constructed from pallets, recycled garage doors and tar paper on a dirt/mud floor.  The father, Agapito, lost his job about a year ago due to untreated diabetes.  Gerson, his 19-year-old son, has a job, but it does not pay well enough support the family and pay for his dad's medical treatment. 

Our house builds are a unique and interactive experience where donors can “purchase” a portion of the house securely via PayPal or credit card. Buy a wall for $200, a window for $50 or plywood for $25. You buy it, we build it!  If you cannot afford a whole section of the house any contribution is of great help.  You can contribute via our website, http://onesmallhouse.org  Donations are fully tax deductable.

The best part is you can see the portion you have purchased being built, as we will e-mail you a personalized photo of your portion of the house being installed during the day.
