This summer, One Small House will be returning to Lazaro Cardenas on two separate trips to build new homes for the Cabarrubia and Saucedo families.  If you are interested in contributing to these builds, please donate.  We assure you that your donation will go directly into these new homes and we'll email you a photo of your impact.

Because One Small House is such a small organization, run by volunteers, we have no administrative costs.  This means that when you donate, all your money goes directly into the build.  You can buy a door for $200, a window for $50 or drywall for $25.  You buy it; we build it!  If you cannot afford an entire section, all contributions go directly to building costs.  $5 donated is $5 directly to providing a new home for this family.

Interactive Build

When you make a donation we bring you as close to the project and the people you are helping without actually being there. We will take a picture of your purchase as it is installed with your name on it. That picture will then be e-mailed to you while it is being installed.  In addition, we will be streaming the build live via the internet. You will be able to follow our progress on Facebook, complete with photos and messages from the volunteer team and community. See what we're doing and help us from where you are!  This, afterall, is as much your build as it is ours!
